Wholesale & Bulk Orders Terms & Conditions
Explore the Terms & Conditions for Wholesale & Bulk Orders, detailing the rules, guidelines, and legal agreements between our business and customers, including policies on purchases, shipping, returns, privacy, and more.
Effective Date: 12 December 2025
Thank you for choosing our handmade ceramic products. Each tile is individually produced and/or hand-painted by artisans, and therefore may have natural variations that are an inherent part of the handmade process. By placing a bulk/or wholesale order with us, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Handmade Nature of Our Products
Our tiles are handmade and/or hand-painted individually. As a result, no two tiles will be perfectly identical.
Natural variations may occur in:
-
Colour, tone and shade
-
Brush strokes and painting details
-
Glaze distribution and surface texture
-
Size and thickness
-
Edges, corners and surface finish
-
Minor imperfections, pinholes or speckling
-
Pattern alignment and registration
-
Minor warpage
These characteristics are not considered manufacturing defects and are part of the unique character of handmade ceramics.
We reserve the right to determine whether an issue constitutes an inherent characteristic of handmade production or a genuine manufacturing defect.
2. Colour Variations
Colours displayed on digital screens may differ from the actual fired ceramic due to differences in screens, lighting, photography and the ceramic firing process.
Glazes and ceramic colours can also vary slightly between batches due to changes in raw materials, firing conditions, kiln temperature and atmospheric conditions.
Where colour matching is required, we recommend requesting a physical sample or colour test before placing a large or bulk order.
3. Hand-Painted Tiles
Hand-painted tiles are individually painted by hand. Consequently, minor differences in brushwork, line thickness, colour application and pattern placement should be expected.
For repeat or bulk orders, we will make every reasonable effort to maintain consistency with approved samples and previous orders. However, an exact reproduction of a previous hand-painted tile cannot be guaranteed.
4. Custom & Commissioned Orders
For custom designs, murals, name plaques, house numbers or other commissioned work, production will begin after the design, dimensions, colours and other relevant specifications have been approved by the customer - even after if payment for the order has already been made by the customer. Lead time will be from the time of design/or sample approval, or payment of advance, whichever may be later.
Once production has commenced, changes to the approved design may not be possible and may result in additional charges and/or delays.
Custom and commissioned products are non-returnable and non-refundable.
5. Dimensions & Tolerances
Because our tiles are handmade and kiln-fired, slight variations in dimensions (1mm-3mm), thickness, flatness and shape may occur.
Customers requiring tiles for architectural installation should account for reasonable manufacturing tolerances when planning layouts and installation.
Where precise dimensions or compatibility with an existing installation are critical, please discuss the requirements with us before placing the order.
6. Firing & Glaze Variations
Ceramic firing is an inherently variable process. Even when the same clay, glaze and firing schedule are used, the final appearance can vary between kiln firings.
Variations in glaze colour, gloss, texture, depth and surface appearance may therefore occur.
Such variations are considered inherent to ceramic production and are not, by themselves, grounds for replacement or refund.
7. Orders & Production
Most of our products are handmade and are made-to-order. Production times may therefore vary depending on:
-
Quantity ordered
-
Complexity of the design
-
Customisation requirements
-
Drying and curing conditions
-
Weather and humidity
-
Kiln schedules
-
Current production workload
-
Any production or dispatch timeframe provided is an estimated timeframe, unless specifically confirmed otherwise in writing.
8. Installation
Tiles should be inspected before installation.
Once a tile has been cut, installed, grouted or otherwise modified, it will be considered accepted by the customer.
We strongly recommend that customers, contractors and installers check all tiles for quantity, dimensions, colour, design and visible damage before installation.
We do not accept responsibility for costs associated with removal, reinstallation, labour, adhesive, grout or other installation expenses.
9. Handling & Care
Ceramic tiles are fragile, and should be handled and installed using appropriate materials and methods suitable for the intended application.
Although our tiles are kiln-fired ceramic products, individual tiles may be susceptible to chipping, cracking or breakage if improperly handled, cut, drilled, installed or subjected to excessive impact.
Customers should follow appropriate ceramic tile installation and maintenance practices.
10. Warehouse Pickup
All bulk orders require direct pickup from our warehouse location. We do not provide delivery services for large-quantity purchases. Customers must arrange their own transport and loading from our facilities upon order completion.
Customers are entirely responsible for arranging their own transportation, secure loading, and protective transit materials.
11. Shipping
Arranging transit is provided purely as a complimentary service and is not part of our standard wholesale/bulk purchase business practices or business policies.
Where shipping has been arranged, the customer must pay all shipping and freight fees in full prior to order dispatch.
We do not charge a commission on shipping fees, neither do we have any tie-ups with the shipping carrier.
Similarly, placing an order does not imply or guarantee a shipping service for the order.
For intra-state bulk orders (within Goa) shipping can be arranged, on request of the customer. Shipping is not included by default with the order.
We do not provide shipping for inter-state bulk orders (within India), and customers will be required to collect the consignment from our warehouse.
In special cases, and/or on request of the customer, we may provide shipping for inter-state bulk orders at our sole discretion.
We reserve the right to refuse shipping at any stage due to any constraints, including but not limited to location restrictions, or non-payment of shipping fees.
12. Location Restrictions
We reserve the right to refuse shipping to certain locations due to infrastructural constraints, including but not limited to bad road conditions, non-deliverable pincodes, or restricted freight zones.
If a location is deemed non-deliverable, an alternative address or pickup must be arranged.
13. Transit Damage:
Customer explicitly agrees that ceramic tiles are inherently fragile materials, and can occasionally sustain damage during transportation despite careful packaging.
All risk of transit, including but not limited to damage, breakage, loss, or delay shifts entirely to the Customer immediately upon dispatch from the our facility.
We assume no responsibility for damages caused during transit. Any claims for damage occurred during shipping must be filed by the Customer directly with the freight carrier.
We will not provide replacements or refunds for items damaged in transit.
Customers must inspect their package immediately upon delivery, and take clear photographs and/or videos of the consignment inside the delivery vehicle, as well as, during unloading of the consignment from the vehicle.
If tiles arrive damaged, please contact us within [48 hours] of delivery and provide:
-
Photographs and/or videos of the consignment inside the delivery vehicle
-
Photographs and/or videos of unloading of the consignment from the vehicle.
-
Photographs and/or videos of the external packaging
-
Photographs and/or videos of the internal packaging
-
Clear photographs of all damaged tiles
-
The order number
-
The quantity of damaged tiles
Claims submitted without adequate photographic evidence may not be accepted.
Where transit damage is verified, we will assess the claim and, where applicable, arrange replacement of the affected tiles or provide another appropriate resolution.
14. Replacement of Damaged Tiles
We do not guarantee, and/or are not obliged to provide replacements. Any replacements will be entirely at our own discretion, and may be liable to full prices.
In special cases, we may approve the replacement of tiles and/or our products as a voluntary, one-time gesture of customer goodwill. In such cases, a 'Goodwill Agreement and Release of Liability Waiver' will need to be signed and stamped by the customer. We cannot begin production, dispatch any items, or authorize a warehouse pickup until we receive your signed waiver, with company stamp and date.
Replacement tiles are handmade and hand-painted individually. A replacement may therefore have minor differences in colour, brushwork, glaze or surface appearance compared with the original tile.
Replacement does not guarantee an exact visual match to the previously produced tile.
15. Wholesale/Bulk Orders Packing Standards:
All items are packed using industry standard protective materials designed to withstand normal transit conditions. Standard packing is included in the base price for intrastate orders.
Inter-state bulk orders require additional protective packing beyond our standard packing, and additional packing fees may be applicable.
For inter-state bulk orders, we may recommend additional protective packing like pallets, crates, etc.
If you request extra layers of protection, custom crating, heavy-duty bubble wrap, or specialized securing methods beyond our standard procedures, an additional charge will apply.
Additional packing fees will be calculated based on the extra materials and labor required, and will be communicated to you for payment before the work begins.
16. Liability Notice
Choosing standard packing means your items are packed to standard commercial safety levels. We are not responsible for damage resulting from inherent defects or if a customer declines recommended additional protective packing for fragile items.
17. Quantity Disclaimer
All goods must be counted and checked by the customer or carrier before leaving the warehouse.
Dispatch confirms receipt of the exact quantity and good condition of all items listed. We will not accept claims for shortages or damage after the vehicle leaves our premises.
18. Refunds & Cancellations
Orders may not be cancelled once production has commenced, particularly in the case of custom, personalised or commissioned products.
Refunds, where approved, will be processed in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Custom-made, personalised and hand-painted commissioned products are not eligible for return simply because of minor variations inherent to handmade production.
19. Bulk & Repeat Orders
For bulk orders, we will make reasonable efforts to maintain consistency throughout the production batch.
However, because ceramic products are handmade and kiln-fired, slight variations between individual tiles and between production batches are unavoidable.
Customers placing repeat orders should not assume that tiles produced at a later date will be an exact match to tiles purchased previously.
For large architectural projects, we strongly recommend ordering sufficient quantities from the same production batch wherever possible.
20. Product Photography
Product photographs are intended to provide a general representation of the product. Due to photography, lighting, screen settings and the handmade nature of our products, the actual product may differ slightly from photographs shown on our website or social media.
21. Marketing
By placing an order, the customer approves and/or agrees that we may use photographs and/or videos of the final product, installation, as well as, the making of the products for our marketing channels.
22. Lead Times
Production lead times are provided on a case-to-case basis.
All lead times are approximate estimates only and start from the date of final payment, order confirmation and/or final approval of the design - whichever may be later. Shipping dates are not guaranteed.
Quoted production and delivery timelines are subject to change based on material availability, supplier schedules, and unforeseen logistical delays. We are not liable for any direct or indirect losses resulting from delayed fulfillment.
Because all our bulk orders are made-to-order, provided lead times reflect normal production conditions. Delays may occur during peak seasons or due to custom specifications.
23. "As-Is" Status and Warranty Disclaimer
All products are provided strictly on an "AS-IS" basis with no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or durability.
Replacements do not reset, extend, or create any product warranty.
Customer acknowledges that ceramic tiles are subject to natural variations, and the Company does not guarantee an exact match in shade, colour, texture, or dye lot to any previously purchased items.
24. Acceptance of Terms
By placing a bulk order, the customer confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions, including the natural variations associated with handmade and hand-painted ceramic products.
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version applicable at the time the order is placed will govern that order.
For any questions regarding product suitability, dimensions, colours, installation or custom requirements, please contact us before placing your order.
